-Led scoping, discovery, build, testing and new installation go-live for Cottage Health’s 3 hospital system including Cath Lab, EP, IR, non-invasive Cardiology and all Radiology modalities- IR, CT, US, MRI, Mammo, XR, Nuclear Medicine.

-Completed new installs of non-invasive Cardiology and Radiology as it pertains to the ambulatory setting- 15 urgent cares, 5 primary cares, 2 cardiology clinics.

-Served as lead builder and advisor for Merge Cardio (C-PACS) and Merge Hemodynamics.

-Interface error work queue resolution between Radiology PACS and Epic.

-Worked on design and build for Zio Monitors, EKG Epiphany, 24 hr blood pressure monitoring

-Developed structured reporting, reading work lists, protocolling, consents, procedures, visit types, pools, status boards, snapboard reports, work queues, status reports, navigators and narrators.

-Optimized workflows between Surgical Services and interventional suites pertaining to physician admission and discharge orders for efficient patient throughput.

-Engaged and collaborated with operational stakeholders on a weekly cadence and provided expert opinions on operational workflows, system capability and optimization enhancements.

-Responsible for attending change control, data courier, dozens of Cupid and Radiant upgrades, ticket resolution in Service Now and serves as primary on-call analyst for both applications.

-Participates in the selection of new information technology products related to patient care.

-Assists in the development and implementation of the Information Systems Long Range Plan.

-Trains all new employees on Apple products, Vocera devices, CAMS Alert Messaging protocol and all other communication alerts, systems, etc.

-Coordinates server repair and maintenance activities and/or manages the ISD Help Desk staff and day-to-day operations on an as needed basis.

-Maintains own technical checklist. Takes initiative for planning and completing professional development as it applies to health care goals, system goals, and personal/professional goals.

-Executes work requests for communications device hardware, software and peripheral equipment initiated by end users which also includes end user training.

-Defines and coordinates preventative maintenance activities related to communications devices and software.

-Interfaces with vendors as required to resolve equipment and software issues.

-Initiates with outside vendors for prospective expansion of systems new and existing. Plan training sessions and work flow as it is appropriate for hospital staff.

-Orders and activates communications devices including but not limited to cell phones, smart phones, pagers, tablets.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Apple OS issues as well as, in appropriate circumstances, hardware issues.

-Teaches new employee orientation for Vocera and CAMS users.

-Serves as a resource for hospital departments regarding device activation and for questions about features, usage and functionality problems. Resolves issues with carrier and tech support as needed.

-Assists with maintaining the wireless communication device system (Vocera) and serves as a liaison for users. Makes rounds, work with users, resolves training issues and reports technical problems.

-Gathers data, prepares reports, and is responsible for developing format. Enters data into a database, provides summary reports and adds fields as necessary.

-Conducts and oversees training for PBX Operators and acts as a resource on systems questions and problems. Recommends further training and/or counseling to Communications Manger if necessary. Works as a backup PBX Operator to provide coverage as required.
