Committed to establishing a high-performing team and enhancing customer satisfaction.
At Sprouts, I am the head of the bakery department and manage a team of about six people. My main responsibility is to maintain the sales floor; in order to do this I must place accurate orders, and familiarize myself with product movement in order to keep the shelves stocked. I am also responsible of a monthly inventory where I count all product in the cooler freezer and sales floor. Another responsibility is managing my sales and my discards, and making sure I am not losing out on sales. I am also responsible of writing my schedule for my team.
At Auntie Anne’s, my main responsibility was to lead my team through busy nights and close down the kitchen. I would delegate tasks amongst my closing crew, close out registers, and prepare for the next morning. I was also in charge of interviews and hiring at this location, and placing miner orders.
As an assistant store manager, my main responsibility was to assist the general manager to run the restaurant by supporting the team through lunch and dinner rushes, and manage sales and labor. I was also responsible of completing a full store inventory weekly, which included refrigerated food, dry goods, drinks, and supplies. Other duties I had was writing the schedule for the whole team, placing money orders, and interviewing/hiring.
As a service manager, my job was to lead the team through opening and closing shifts. I was responsible of following checklists to make sure my team was on track and completed their tasks. I was also responsible of placing orders for our weekly inventory.
As a crew member, I worked various positions throughout the store. I began as a front of house crew member, which included greeting guests, taking their orders, and being a cashier. Over time I transitioned to back of house, which included food prep, dishwashing, and cooking.
