- Form 4473 and make sure they filled it out to the best of their knowledge without anyone's help
- Once they finished I would then revise the form and make sure all required areas were filled out with the correct information and submit it to the FBI's background website (NICS) which I would then receive one of 3 answers
- Depending on one of the 3 answers I could get back(proceed, denied, delayed) I would then tell the buyer what answer the background came back in and finally make sure all serial number on the firearm matched with the box the firearm came in and walk them up to the front desk to then check out
