Alexis Freshour

Hello, my name is Alexis I am 26 years old and my husband and I have three beautiful children as well as three dogs, two cats, and two parakeets. My passion for helping animals began at a young age and has only grew stronger. The moment I knew my calling to become a veterinary technician was when I came across this trash-filled home and I noticed this white kitten that was severally neglected to the point you could see every bone in his little body. After speaking with the owners they agreed to let me keep him. My point to this story is while this kitten now named snowball was getting care at my local veterinary clinic. I watched as the Veterinarian and veterinary technician bring him back to health. I knew after this experience that this was my calling. I stated my journey at Lincoln Memorial University then I took a break to start a family with our three young children. I have just recently completed my prerequisites at Northeast State Community College and am now currently attending Penn Foster College. I want to thank you for taking the time to review my resume.
