Hi, I am Alexis I am 21 years old. I live in Shawano and have lived there all my life. I currently work at the Cottages Assisted Living as a caregiver and medpasser, I work at the Senior living side and the Memory care building where I have lots of training in people with alzheimer's. I am also a volunteer on our local fire department and am certified as a firefighter. I did do my CNA class when I was in high school but did not continue to get state certified. I am currently in college at NWTC working towards getting my LPN in hopes to be a RN in the future. If all goes well I will be graduating as a LPN at the end of 2026. I have so much love in my heart to help people and desire to help others to make a difference in peoples lives. I seek for the opportunity for personal and professional growth, and the potential for job stability. I have always wanted to work at hospital and want to get a foot in the door and start fresh to learn new things. I believe this job is such meaningful work and it takes special people. Anyone can learn to be a caregiver and help people but you cannot teach people to care. That's something I think you need to have in any health care setting to have best results for the patient and for your co workers.
