Lead security officer day shift supervised six other officers. Greeted visitors at the gate, patrolled the property, responded to medical emergencies, investigated theft reports, various administrative duties.

• I was a TSA Security officer at Southwest Regional International Airport. On a daily basis I screened the traveling public checking documents, operating X-Ray equipment, conducted baggage and pat downs searches. During peak times we would screen up to 350 passengers in one hour.

• I was a Security Officer at Gulf Coast Medical Center. I conducted routine patrols, conducted investigations, dealt with patients valuables. I worked with the visitor fast pass system in the emergency room, main atrium, and metro entrance on a daily basis. Had constant contact with patients, families and the general public helping them have a good experience at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Worked with all departments of the hospital as needed to maintain a safe environment.

• Senior enlisted advisor to the commanding officer at a Coast Guard Training Center with over 860 acres and 200 structures. We trained approximately 5,000 students annually. There were 530 employees and 350 civilian housing residents. I dealt with issues effecting all members. Worked on a team developing long range projects. I was on call 24/7.

• I was the school chief for the largest apprentice level school in the Coast Guard. We graduated over 900 students annually. I supervised 22 instructors. I updated student course material, wrote and administered student exams, and interacted with students on a daily basis. 2007 STAN team assistant chief, conducted audits on search and rescue stations and cutters throughout the Coast Guard, provided input for process improvement based on audit results.

• Officer in Charge of a search and rescue and law enforcement station on the Chesapeake Bay. I supervised 45 personnel, 20 reserves, and 60 auxiliary personnel.

• I was a Chief Petty Officer stationed aboard a 210 ft Medium Endurance Cutter that performed Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement operations in the south atlantic ocean. I was in charge of boat lowering operations, supervised the loading and unloading cargo. I was a senior boarding officer conducting boating safety and law enforcement boardings.
