Conduct light investigation, follow-ups as well as preparing and updating records and reports. Generating reports and conducting follow-up regarding information submitted via the online reporting system . Reviewing online reports for completeness and contacting the submitters for additional information and/or corrections ; and related duties as required , investigating out of parish recovered vehicles from NCIC.

Administrative work in the Investigations Division of Special Victims Section assist in conducting and reviewing a variety of criminal investigations and prosecution activities. Which includes conducting victim and witness forensic interviews for cases including child sexual and physical abuse also assisting the sections staff, collecting evidence and preparing related police reports as well as assisting the District Attorney's Office in cases and testifying as a witness in court when needed and other related duties

Collecting and booking property and evidence, testifying in court ,depositions and hearing regarding the chain of custody investigates ownership of property order by court orders. Participate in periodic audits and inventories of property and evidence

Detect and detain individuals suspected of shoplifting. Investigates other suspected incidents of fraud waste and abuse as directed.

Prepares case reports investigative notes and processes evidence in accordance with NEXCOM LPS standards.

Conducts investigative research as directed of cash variances and suspicious register transactions utilizing ASPECT Point of Sale Exception Reporting Systems and the In-Store Processor as well as other investigative tools.

Conducts Accident Investigations involving associates and customers in accordance with prescribed NEXCOM guidelines to include report writing and obtaining photographic evidence as necessary. - Maintains absolute confidentiality of all investigative research and case information.

Maintains case files and records and prepares reports on progress of investigations and completed investigations. Analyzes cases documentation including but not limited to audio-taped statements , photographs and police incident reports and appropriate investigative course of action for cases. Provide security and care of juvenile offenders. make referrals if needed Make decisions in regards to the findings of the investigation

Supervised youth's daily activities for school, meals and recreation time.

Observed and supervised inmates throughout visits, meal time, recreation, phone calls, and showers.

Escorted inmates to and from cells, court, hospitals, and medical appointment

●Reviewed police charge sheets to determine appropriate corrective measures.
Managed all juvenile correctional facility operations.
Established and maintained contact with parents and guardians.
Inspected all detention facilities twice a day and noted any issues.
Coordinated with counselors and state officials on each case.
Supervised all transfers for court dates and medical appointments.
Prepared and updated reports on each juvenile offender.
Testified at court proceedings as required.
