I started playing soccer when i was in Kindergarten with my friends in the neighborhood barefooted, then after that when i got older around 8 i joined my first academy (AC Milan), and I played for AC Milan for 7 years, and it was the best feeling ever that i got to wear a jersey with my name in the back where i can represent my team. After playing for AC Milan for 3 years i got the honor to be the team captain which was a very big deal to me and i was very happy.
In soccer you have to be responsible and prove yourself and show a good example of yourself to your teammate to gain the honor to be a team captain "which's a decision that is always made by the teammates NOT the captain or the team management" , it’s doesn't matter how good you are as a soccer player as much as how your personality is (of course you want to be a good soccer player), but being only good without having a leadership experience is not enough.
Soccer taught me a lot of things, how to be patient, and how to deal with beginners and build-up their confidence, and make it easy for them to catch the skills in the shortest period of time. I'd like to conclude this by stating that any type of sports will teach you a lot of principles, that will effect the decisions that will be making in the future.
