Alice Lezcano

• Advises students in their progress towards graduation in all school departments notably political science, international relations, economics, criminal justice, crime science and modern languages majors.
• Assists SIPA Advising leads in supporting student retention, graduation initiatives, student monitoring projects as well as advisors training.
• Serves as lead advisor for the Politics and International Relations academic advising team and as liaison between advising team and department faculty/staff.

Teaching first time university students how to develop basic skills and competencies necessary to college success including time management, study skills, and academic policies/procedures.

• Organized and directed the French Weeks festival 2017 (24 events in 2 weeks) including event planning, marketing, sponsorships request and collaboration with partners
  

• Managed a team and directed all the operational aspects of the Chamber while director on leave (4 months), including advise and reports to the Board of Directors, and training and supervision of employees
  
• Advised, oriented and informed French entrepreneurs interested in doing business in South Florida
• Promoted the mission and services of the Chamber among potential members and partners
  
• Organized and promoted more than 30 events 

• Planned and organized French Legion of Honor award ceremonies for WW2 veterans who fought in France

• Contributed to the organization of the French ambassador's visit to Florida
