Alicia Smith

I’m a licensed cosmetologist. Which means I can cut hair, color hair, do nail. I worked at Great Clips. I really enjoyed my job. I learned a lot of new tips and tricks. I really enjoyed what I did. I enjoyed getting to know my clients.

I was the director of morning and after care. I was the main one in charge.

I was at Maugansville Elementary School in the morning. We had a sign in sheet for the parents to sign in their child. We had toys for the children to play with. I interacted them with talking to them about different stuff.

I was at Smithsburg Elementary School in the afternoon. We had a sign a sign out sheet for the parents when they came to pick up their child. We had toys out for them to play with. We had a snack everyday for the kids. After snack we normally let them play with toys again, take them to the gym or outside.

As a child care worker there were children here between the ages of babies to preschool.

As I worked there as a teacher I got the opportunity to work in every room.

I changed diapers, interacted with the kids, read stories them, gave them there breakfast, lunch and snacks and laid them down for lunch.
