Work History

Program Specialist - Horses

Camp Winnataska
05.2025 - 08.2025

Led a team of six, dedicated staff members responsible for running the largest summer program at Camp Winnataska. Camp Winnataska is a 100+ year old Christian camp in Pell City, AL that operates from May - August and impacts nearly 1,000 kids/teenagers each summer. This program involves the coordination of staff (some unexperienced), programming and the care of over 30 horses each day in spite of poor weather conditions or old equipment. Early mornings and late nights were required to keep the program running smoothly, as well as, the ability to work closely with others.

Camp Staff - Horses, Camp Winnataska

05.2023 - 08.2023

Worked closely with the Program Specialist - Horses at Camp Winnataska during the Summer of 2023. As a returning staffer/former camper (have been attending this camp since 5th grade), I was responsible for the training of new staff, barn upkeep, helping care for 30+ horses and maintaining program efficiency to help serve over 1,000 kids/teenagers coming through the camp. Ability to work closely with others in all weather conditions and stressful situations was a must.
