- Point of Contact to a wide range of high dollar government repair contracts overseeing production planning and execution from start to finish
- As a Logistics Management Specialist, I currently work as the lead program manager for an Air Force Aerospace Control and Warning radar and previously for multiple Army radar systems including the Firefinder reliability, maintainability and improvement design program
- Providing support and guidance for overhaul repair of these radar systems and supporting ancillary equipment
- Supporting the depot mission by planning and coordinating overhaul and fabrication workload schedules with project team members from all areas of program execution, including maintenance supervisor and shop personnel, production controllers, planners, material requisitioning, quality, and engineering
- Interacting daily with these team members through email, scheduled and impromptu telephone conference calls, MS Teams, both on site and remote settings and in person meetings
- Providing program status to higher levels of senior leadership, including Command level, through workload briefings
- Interfacing and communicating on a daily basis with customers from the Program Management (PM) office, this includes on site visits to PM headquarters for program reviews
- Also communicating with fielding units, transportation and suppliers to track delivery schedules and make on time customer radar fielding
- Evaluating the program execution, directing the resource requirements needed from the time of original asset repair induction until supply chain action and the overall program is complete and financial settlement is resolved
- Monitoring and adjusting the program budget, coordinating the logistic requirement plans and logistic fielding support program
- Responsible to develop, establish, and implement workload preliminary schedules, workload final production schedules, and resulting rescheduling of production work orders to verify and track program funding and revise where necessary
- Committing workload priorities, monitoring asset location, parts availability, and interacting with planners and controllers to analyze available shop capacity
- All requirements are then communicated during daily, weekly and monthly production reviews in assigned maintenance shops
- This provides the information necessary for capacity management of commodity-focused workload and asset management role
- Involved with supply chain material procurement contracts by tracking delivery of the purchased repair parts in order to support the overhaul schedules of these radar systems
- Daily use of System Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) web based Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), which is an Enterprise Resource Planning system

- Daily use of web based SAP/LMP Logistics Modernization Program materials resource planning system to negotiate maintenance shop workload schedules in both weekly and monthly buckets so the process can begin
- Develop and track program cost center man-hours to create a capacity plan for resource planning, which provides the basis for the preparation of the Master Scheduler implementation
- In addition, use of LMP to track labor and material dollars executed against a funded repair program in order to achieve the goal of providing the customer a quality driven product and on time deliveries
- Communicate daily, weekly and monthly schedule requirements by coordinating with cross-functional teams through email, and in person meetings
- Team members that I regularly interact with include the maintenance supervisor and shop personnel, material planners, expeditors, and material requisitioning, logistic management specialists, quality, engineering and item managers to establish agreed upon production routes, bill of materials and schedules involving various shop work centers through project completion to identify the most efficient method of processing
