Summary

I am a positive team player, with proven multi-tasking abilities, seeking new position working with children. I am a mother of a 18 month old little miracle baby girl that my husband I had after 10 years IVF. So, working with children and desire to see my own child succeed and learn is my passion as well as other children. I taught children’s church for many years ago at my birth church and teach currently at Graceway Baptist Church. I also assist helping as a nursery worker. We are active members and born again Christians. My goal is making sure every child is safe and accounted for is always priority and informing parents of any behavior changes or concerns. I personally have grown up with an older brother with epilepsy, autism and brain tumor. So showing compassion to children and their development needs I pay close attention with care. I often had to as a child growing up had responsibility of my older brother’s personal care, learning development, and meal planning due to busy life on the farm.

Watching children learn something new through my eyes is like experiencing childhood all over again in a new way. I have leadership experience, direct customer interaction, I’m detail oriented even while under stressful conditions and understand the need for being clear and courteous to both internal and external customers and their families. I have years of experience in the medical field & retail sales and able to quickly learn any new task. I am looking for a weekday position to better support my family. However, my aspiration is to work with a dynamic and progressive organization that can take the best out of me and give me the opportunity to constantly expand/enhance my career. I am currently looking into taking classes at SPCC to pursue associates degree in early childhood development and administration. I plan to enroll for 2026 SPCC for EDU 119 and few other classes as remote online. I enjoy working with and training new employees to better understand and exceed their job requirements to grow with a company. My desire daily is to complete all tasks to the fullest to prepare the next shift for upcoming events for the day or week. I also take pleasure in helping customers find what they need or resolving problems to exceed customer satisfaction. Helping teach children new things, emotional intelligence and development skills to advance their cognitive abilities is my goal if I am hired for this position. I am willing to do any training or further education to advance my career working for this company to better equip myself as a teacher and employee to others. I am currently doing training through dcdee.moodle.nc.gov so I’m best equipped for job placement that should come open. I am actively involved at my church at Graceway Baptist, enjoy singing in our choir, gardening, taking trail walks in the park and the mountains, and teaching our daughter Isabella new things to grow and develop. I use to be very active in martial arts and gymnastics early in my childhood and played the piano. Life is full of opportunities. I hope you will consider me as candidate to work within your wonderful preschool; that I have took interest for employment as well as for care of my child.
