- Perform complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Install accessories, mirrors, windshields, battery tenders, and model-specific components according to factory and dealership specifications.
- Activate and prepare acid batteries, test and install AGM/lithium batteries, verify proper voltage levels, and label all batteries and units by VIN, brand, and model.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical checks including fluid levels, coolant, brake fluid, engine oil, tire pressure, torque specs, and system functionality.
- Use OEM diagnostic systems such as KDS (Kawasaki), YDA (Yamaha), and Polaris Digital Wrench to check DTCs, apply software updates, and program keys.
- Perform post-assembly quality control, leak checks, and pre-delivery verification after test rides.
- Complete and submit PDI forms, QC sheets, and unit history records with accurate documentation.
- Carry out 50-point inspections on used motorcycles, including tire tread, brake pad/rotor measurements, chain condition, fluid checks, and green/yellow/red recommendations.
- Wash and detail service units, used motorcycles, and showroom inventory to maintain a clean, sale-ready appearance.
- Transport and position units on the sales floor and assist with showroom vehicle organization.
- Document all work performed, photograph units for internal records, and communicate any issues or defects to the service manager or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace across the prep box, wash bay, build area, and ready-for-delivery sections.
- Collaborate with technicians, sales staff, and supervisors to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer vehicles.
