The Summer National Security Partnership adopted a methodology to introduce students to the metaphorical “battlefield” on which American foreign and defense policy is shaped in Washington, DC today. Through first-person visits and discussions with representatives of the legislative and executive branches, as well as leading policy experts in local universities and think tanks, participating students will gain unique insights into the ideas shaping contemporary American national security.
