Alyssa Hubbard

I am a dedicated scholar student , athlete, and professional. Graduating from Plant City High School this May in the top 20 percent of my class as a health science honor graduate with a 4.8 GPA in AP and AICE classes , furthering my education and advancing the future of my career is my top priority. Enrolled in health science classes I passed my certified medical administrative assistant exam and earned my certification to be employed in any healthcare facility . I also earned my BLS certification, making me licensed to preform adult, child, and infant CPR in emergent situations. One of my biggest accomplishments this year was earning my Gold Bilingual Seal in Spanish for taking at least 4 years of an advanced second language.

I have participated in a variety of activities while enrolled in my high school career. I am Plant City High Schools Health Science Clubs Secretary, and have served that role for the past 2 years. I was recognized for my astounding academic accomplishments,character, and contributions to my community and elected into the National Honor Society. I was also elected into Student Government Association this year and am on my schools planning committee for events such as pep rallies, homecoming , and impactful events like suicide awareness week, and seatbelt safety week. My junior year I participated in the Relay For Life club and ran various fundraisers to raise money for the American Cancer Society. In my Freshmen and Sophomore years of High School when I lived in Ohio, I was my schools Student Council Vice President and helped create a bullying and mental health awareness line to communicate with licensed professionals when in need. I am also a model for Nikki's Glitz And Glam Boutique where I serve as an ambassador for body positivity and confidence. I am also an established athlete and have placed as a Federal Division, and District ranked Varsity Track athlete advancing to Regionals this season. I plan on continuing this sport further into my academic career in college.

Within my senior year , I have been accepted into nearly 8 colleges and my top choices of USF and U Tampa. Upon graduation I plan to find a job in a healthcare facility or hospital and work . I will start college in the January term at The University Of South Florida as a pre-medicinal major with a minor in psychology. I plan to remain to work at a healthcare facility during this time and earn my CNA and use this license until earning my doctorates after medical school.

I have a great amount of work experience and understanding customer service, management , and responsibility at young age. My first job was at Charleys Phillysteaks right after turning 16. At Charleys I served as a cashier and customer service representative. After a few months , I was promoted to a Night Shift Leader where I learned a variety of roles in the restraunt and perfected them. I also learned proper social etiquette and good customer service skills. After a few months as a shift lead , I was promoted to a Shift Manager and was in charge of closing the store every night by myself, cleaning and operations, running the line and teaching my coworkers their roles, filling out the manager checklist and corporate standards, associating with customers and handling complaints, and running the nightly transactions. After a few months I resigned from working at Charleys due to a promotion without raise. After Charleys , I helped my Dad at his optomology company of Sunshine ENT with categorizing and filing. I also cleaned equipment and helped customers.

During this time period, I was offered a job at Bubbakoos Burritos where I am currently employed. I have worked at Bubbakoos since August as a cashier and team member. I possess the skills to take and prepare individuals orders, memorization of ingredients and cleaning routines, good customer service skills, and making the facility experience a positive one.

Received high level grades in these classes and learned to communicate, redd, and write in Spanish. Frequently use this skill in my daily life. Earned my Gold Bilingual Seal Of Literacy recognized by the state of Florida.
