Alyssa Kitchens

I am a straight A student at Mount Saint Mary Academy. As a little girl I came to Rock City, and I remember always feeling so excited and having an eagerness to learn new skills. I had the best teacher ever! She always me two stamps instead of just one after every class, and she pushed me to challenge myself and cultivate my growth as a gymnast. I want to have that type of effect on little girls just as I once was. I want them to have the same amazing experiences as I had at Rock City. Although I no longer do gymnastics, I still love to play around with my younger cousins and teach them simple skills like cartwheels, back bends, and front walkovers.

I play competitive travel soccer on the Rising 2009 ECRL girls team and we finished as finalists at regionals. I also play high school soccer with Mount Saint Mary Academy. This season we were the 6A conference champions and we made it to the finals at State.

I am part of the Beta club at Mount Saint Mary Academy for maintaining above a 3.5 GPA all year long. I am also a member of the National Junior Classical League Latin Honor Society.
