I was born in the poorest state of Brazil, Piaui, and moved to the United States aged thirteen. Since young, I've had an insatiable appetite for knowing that is not fueled by accomplishment but by an innate disposition, which has led to academic success. Therefore, when first placed in an American school, I was quickly changed out of the ESL program due to my advanced language skills, easily matching and surpassing most of my peers. From then on, I've gradually challenged myself to take courses in different areas and levels to acquire a well-rounded set of skills and knowledge.
