I began my early childhood development journey as a teachers assistant worked my way up to headteacher during that time obtained my degree in psychology, and in the field of education. Over the last 10 years, I have been an Early Intervention service coordinator and have utilized my background in childhood development to assist and support my assigned families.

My responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

· Assuring that my clients become knowledgeable of what the Early intervention program is.

· Assuring that they understand the benefits of the program, providing them with the laws and guidelines of the program set fourth by the state and the department of mental health and hygiene.

· Assisting families with each step in the Early Intervention process. Arranging the evaluations.

· Facilitating and participating in the development of each service plan meeting. Securing service providers.

· Complying with the new telehealth regulations and guidelines provided through the department of mental health and hygiene. Providing families with resources outside of the early intervention program.

· Developing a transition plan with along side the families in preparation for the age out of Early Intervention.

· Coordinating and monitoring the delivery of services.

· Submitting service coordination billing, as well as documentation into the provide soft program.
