As a Beauty Team Member I manage the cosmetics and skincare department of the store. I perform daily tasks to ensure my area adheres with store standards. I clean up any mess left by guests, take out-of-place products back to the home locations, and process defects through our ESIM system. I unload truck deliveries, put out new product, and fill any empty shelves for a full look. I transition planograms for new products or products corresponding to the season. I also help guests with anything they need, from skincare suggestions to finding a specific desired product.
Although I hold one formal title, I have a few different responsibilities that are shared with other positions at Ulta Beauty, but those positions are not as versatile. As a Task Associate I am part of a team focused on how the store looks and whom implement actions that include changing planograms, outputting product from deliveries, restocking merchandise on shelves, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Positions I share duties with are Beauty Advisors and Cashiers. While completing assignments under my formal title I am simultaneously interacting with guests and adhering to their needs.
