  • Establish San Francisco-based nonprofit as a leader in local environmental initiatives by maintaining financial sustainability and regular communications with grantors, donors, partners, media, and clients to acknowledge their contributions and articulate our progress, challenges, and success.
  • Lead innovative, complex programs with cross-sector partnerships and multiple benefits for people and the environment. Programs include community-based Habitat Restoration, Gardening that brings biodiverse habitats to private and public spaces, and public Nature Walks all over San Francisco led by experts.
  • Manage the organization's finances and operations to maximize efficiency and track impacts to show progress over time, and communicate necessary information to team members and funders.
  • Guarantee financial longevity by engaging in long-term, trusting relationships and soliciting funds from private foundations, donors, and corporations.
  • Recruit, train, manage, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure their success in achieving their goals while fostering a collaborative environment that welcomes innovation, retains employees, and provides an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace.
  • Execute contracts and MOUs (in partnership with fiscal sponsor, Earth Island Institute) with grantors, city agencies, independent contractors, and companies to develop and carry out complex initiatives.
  • Implement, organize, and oversee Salesforce for securely storing detailed constituent information and Account Engagement for outbound communications. Administer Google Workspace.
  • Manage robust communications through sending monthly email newsletters, networking, public speaking and presentations, posting on social media, updating website and advertising platforms, building coalitions, and participating in citywide projects and campaigns.
  • Cooperatively develop agendas and prepare for regular meetings with the Advisory Council and committees.

Affiliations

  • Gardening with native plants is a passion of mine. I love to plant and design my urban garden to attract wildlife.
  • I am a mother of an almost four-year-old, and our favorite things to do together are swim, pick home-grown strawberries, and make banana walnut muffins.
