Many have labeled me as a "Super Connector"! Having been on the receiving end of the great work of incredible Military Organizations, it is my deepest passion to utilize my skills, talents and lessons learned to give back. As subject matter expert in the military survivor community, I find great connection in the collective grief and resilience of all who have ever been a part of a Military Family and community. I am a storyteller with a relentless spirit to garner community awareness and build systems that work for our nation's heroes and their families. It is also my heart's desire to share my gratitude with those who have fought for and protected my freedom.

- Established and grew a first-of-its-kind suicide prevention project through successful lead generation that has gained national attention
- Successfully cultivated and acquired necessary support of Military Families through extremely sensitive and strategic postvention efforts
- Enhanced stewardship of participating Military Families through creating meaningful opportunities with partners around the country (NFL, Army Golden Knights, etc)

In my volunteer efforts to raise awareness of things that matter most to me, I've learned to tell my story in a way that resonates with multiple audiences. I have also tapped into my musical passions to write songs and sing the National Anthem at various events.
International Relationships
In a quest to find the deepest meaning in my story of loss and resilience, I became passionate about learning from survivors in other countries. In 2023 I attended Women's World Peace in Paris, France with Tuesday's Children, and was changed at my core. My hope is to visit Iraq one day to learn from my counterparts there.
Advocacy
I've recently spent time writing letters and attending meetings on Capitol Hill to discuss matters that relate to Military and Gold Star Families. I was also honored to be invited to the signing of President Biden's Executive Order intended to strengthen the economic impact of Military spouses, caregivers, and survivors.
Photography
This outlet has showcased my appreciation for beauty and meaning in the world around me. My photos, when shared in vignettes, tell the stories of the lessons I've learned in the past 15+ years. They've also been used in professional settings to help tell the stories of our nation's heroes for awareness and fundraising.
