I began my career with Celadon Trucking in April of 2005 as an incoming clerk on the night shift. I worked for about nine months and then I was promoted to Customer Service also during the night. My next promotion came two years later when I was given the opportunity to run the night shift as Night Operations Supervisor. For the next five years I learned as much as I could about operations, supervising, driver managing, dispatching and running the facility after hours. In 2012, I was promoted to JAG USA Liason to work with our JAG USA Fleet placing me on the day shift. It was a quick and easy transition. My last title with Celadon was Assistant Terminal Manager. I left Celadon in December 2013. I moved on to H&M International and worked with Union Pacific Rail Movements as Assistant Terminal Manager. I worked there for about nine months as Assistant Terminal Manager. It was a change because I was working with planning and loading trains which was good for me to expand my knowledge with the transportation industry. I resigned because I was working night shift and I was offered a better opportunity with Regional Express Carriers.
I learned a lot at Regional Express about Safety and D.O.T. Procedures. I also learned that not all people who hold a title as Terminal Manager have the knowledge or the professionalism to hold that title. I handled their Safety Department and helped out with Operations. I moved over to Interflet Transport, Inc. as their Safety Director/HR/Recruiter. I was there for a year when I was offered a better career change with Freightsol, LLC and is where I am currently working. I am a quick learner. I am quick to resolve any issue brought to me. I feel confident that with my experience and knowledge that I can be a great asset to any company if given the opportunity. I am a leader and will accomplish my goals. I am a professional and have learned a lot with my 20 years of experience.
