Provide Patient Hospitality services in the Hematology/Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion Center. Meet with 75-80 patients each day to ensure their comfort during treatment. Refer patients to Integrative Oncology services as needed, ie: mental health issues. Listen to patient complaints and work to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
First point of contact for all new referrals, scheduled appointments, coordinated surgeries, worked with patients and their families to ensure all needs were addressed. Additionally, worked as Living Donor Advocate for Department of Kidney Transplant. Met with potential donors to provide complete overview of the transplant process and guided them through the consent process. Recognized and reported suspected coercion.
First point of contact for all patients, scheduled appointments, assisted social workers with data collection. Met with liver transplant inpatients and their families to ensure all needs were addressed.
