Aveda Congress 

October 2005

I had the privilege to work alongside Horst and his team to create hair pieces for his final Aveda Congress. I gained experience on what it takes to put something like this together. From brainstorming the pieces to making them complete walking down the runway was something I will never forget. Being behind the scenes and backstage was exciting as well. Forever grateful for this experience so early on in my Cosmetology career.

Winter 2012

Trained under David to help me understand hair color backward and forward and what it takes to become and educator. So I could be prepared to teach it to the new hires.


4 Mat Training with Virginia Meyer

Spring 2013 

Learned about all the different learner types. Also learned about what type of teacher I am as well. This training still helps me to this day in organizing and creating my color classes.


Train the Trainer tryout

June 2013

This was taking all the information we had gained in the previous classes and put it all together on our own. We had to come up with a theme and create 3 looks on models and explain what and why we did it. We presented on stage in front of the following judges, David Adams, Virginia Meyer, Sandra Bethke and Mick Freund. I became one of 4 color trainers.
