Got moved up from Quality Control V2 to Research Specialist I

• Identify sports cards and associated varieties (baseball, football, and all other major sports card releases)

• Identify non-sports cards (vintage cards such as R145 Gum, Inc. Superman to Wacky Packs to modern releases like Pokémon and Yu-gi-oh)

• Research by means of trade magazines, books and internet

• Communicate effectively with other divisions

• Communicate with manufacturers such as Topps, Upper Deck & Panini

Quality control in Collectors is the last step before the orders get to the customers. I have to make sure I have the correct order matching up with the submission form. I have to scan in cards in our system to make sure I have the complete order, I have to also count them in the box. After that I have to check each card in order to make sure it’s up to our standards making sure there are no bad scratches, debris, flip information is correct, card is welded correctly, correct card holder, no missing cards and send any card that has a flaw through our changes system. Orders can come in a box order of 1 to 300 cards at most.. all orders are different. After orders are checked we must take them to their designated racks.

• Started as a assembler in the copper department. Assembling copper wires that costumers ordered. I did that for 2019 until mid 2020 July. After July 2020 I moved up to Quality Control inspector, it was a new department as well in the company . I was trained by one of the engineers in Cable exchange.
