Here at Ape Coffee, I am given the privilege to work alongside my coworkers in creating a smooth flowing work environment and remarkable flavor palettes for all. Through training, hands on experience, personal craft and more- I am confident in my ability to welcome others in, open up the possibility of new coffee experiences to those who are hesitant, and am proud of each and every presentation I serve. I am a team player, but work very well on my own as well. I understand the meaning of hard work and strive to grow my experience each shift. We serve a range of coffees- cortado’s to matcha, specialty lattes, specialty pastries, and more !

As a hostess I am well suited to bring an upbeat, positive and quick thinking mindset to the workplace. I am will equipped to handle and de-escalate tricky situations, and I’m very good at memorizing locations names, faces and regulars. I strive to create a safe environment for all involved. I work closely with servers and the managers to create a smooth flowing floor. I am also trained in food running, expo line and can carry heavy trays. As a server, I work hard to create a favorable rapport with customers to create the best dining experience possible. I am trained is POS function and upselling

As a barista, I am well-trained in handling morning rushes. During this time, I was also trained in speciality coffee making! I have learned the art of patience, urgency, memorization and personal connections. I feel that a simple cup of coffee is the gateway to a multitude of new experiences- first dates, quick work meetings, catching up with a friend, or even treating yourself after a stressful week. While my Spanish is not perfect, I get by and can hold a cohesive conversation- I find that this comes in handy. I am no stranger to deep cleaning an espresso machine, closing, opening, POS functions or a rowdy customer. Because I worked in a small boba shop, I was also trained in pastry decorating, cooking boba, baking pastries and holding a list of add-ons, holds, and last minute decisions in my mind with a moments notice.
