Volunteer Youth Advocate, Court Appointed Special Advocates CASA, Santa Fe, NM, 01/01/19, present, CASA supports and promotes volunteer advocacy so that children and youth from Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Los Alamos counties, who are trauma-impacted or system-involved, can be safe, have permanent connections, and have the opportunity to thrive., Advocated for one youth family for reunification with their family in the process of a 5-year-long case alongside Social Workers, Clinicians, school personnel, Santa Fe District Court, lawyers, CYFD, Guardian Ad Litem, and foster families: the client was successfully reunified with family in 2022.
