• Close bills of lading and perform export Clearance
• Communicate with the customer service group for any requirements or exceptions found in freight documents or physical cargo receipt
• Obtaining, checking, and preparing all transportation documentation to meet Customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Arranging air/ocean transport for urgent and high-value freight and managing the risk door-to-door
• Negotiating contracts, transportation, and handling costs
• Handling all aspects of reefer shipments from the warehouse to the end destination country.

• Prepare documents to facilitate the shipment of engines to customers worldwide; these include, but are not limited to, Bill of Lading, Airway Bills, Packing lists, and exception documents
• Work with shippers and trans loaders to ensure shipment booking dates.

• Prepare all customs documentation for the customs clearance of fire service equipment, Uniforms, and vehicles (fire trucks and ambulances)
• Work with international and local firms to ensure the St
• Lucia Fire Service always receives the best prices for uniforms and equipment
• Procurement of equipment, uniforms, and goods on behalf of the St
• Lucia Fire Service.
