• Blood Bank: Blood typing, cross-matched units for blood transfusion, antibody identification using tube and gel technique, elutions
• Hematology: Prepared blood smears to review morphology and complete manual differential, manual platelet counts, reviewed accuracy of results provided by Sysmex analyzer, sedimentation rate
• Microbiology: Plated organisms, performed biochemical testing, identified organisms with MALDI, susceptibility testing
• Chemistry: Performed daily maintenance, verified quality control, loaded specimens, stocked reagents, performed ionized calcium testing, pregnancy testing
• Urinalysis: Loading specimens, preform microscopic evaluations when necessary
• Coagulation: Factor XIII and platelet function assays, quality control, PT/INR, PTT
