The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e. wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statues and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient
To care for residents in the community in a kind, loving, gentle and patient manner under the direction of the Director of Resident Care (DRC) by performing the following duties with respect for the resident’s dignity and privacy.
Care and supervise the resident’s Activities of Daily Living.
Provide assistance in the resident’s personal hygiene and personal care in a safe and proper manner.
Observe resident for any changes in condition and report to the DRC or to the ADRC.
Be friendly and supportive to residents; respond to resident’s needs and requests.
Assistance with Activities of daily Living, assistance with dressing, grooming and bathing, basic hygiene supplies.
Supervision of self-administration of medication
Daily Housekeeping, laundry & linen services
Safe, comfortable, and sanitary sleeping environment
Daily resident checks, bed-making & trash removal
