• Conducted undergraduate senior thesis soil sampling from census tracts through self-created maps utilizing ArcGIS. Spent summer of 2024 doing field and laboratory work to complete thesis. Measuring and Mapping Spatial Distributions of Soil Lead Concentrations Across an Urban-to-Rural Gradient in Chicagoland.
• Created maps visualizing the median household income and housing age of Buffalo Grove, IL and Skokie, IL census tracts in order to statistically analyze senior thesis prediction and hypotheses utilizing ArcGIS and R Studio.
• Worked with the Multi-Faith Veterans Initiative to map the number of veterans in the three Chicago community areas of Woodlawn, South Shore, and South Chicago along with their respective war service.
• Conducted Capstone life cycle analysis project which compared fresh-cut bouquets of roses versus a LEGO set rose bouquet. This project required the utilization of the OpenLCA software.
• Created and conducted a biostatistical experiment based on relationship between student major and rate of smoking and/or vaping.
