As a recent Doctoral of Management graduate (2024), I reflect on my transformative journey. Following the sudden loss of my partner in2003, I was left to care for our two young children, ages three and eight, without access to our finances or a phone. I took swift action to ensure their well-being, leveraging my resilience and determination. I have demonstrated adaptability and a strong work ethic across various roles throughout my career, consistently delivering results. Notably, achieving my doctoral degree has significantly enhanced my self-worth, underscoring my capability to overcome adversity. Additionally, I obtained my insurance sales license in the summer of2023, expanding my professional expertise.
