I help take care of about 9 to 10 patients every shift (sometimes up to 14), and make sure they receive the best care. I help patients with their daily tasks, as well as perform EKGs, bladder scans, blood glucose checks, drain Foley catheters and colostomy bags, check vitals, assist with transfers, and collect urine and stool samples for testing, etc. I also help families deal with having their loved ones in the hospital, and make sure they're taken care of as well.
