  • Completed a three-month rotation to the Mexico border from March to June of 2024. During this time, I worked closely with the U.S. Border Patrol Agents and the Texas Department of Public Safety. My responsibilities included leading a small team of two to four soldiers in surveillance operations, monitoring border activities, patrolling the border both on foot and in a vehicle, and providing support in apprehending individuals attempting to cross the border illegally.
  • Build the network and standard operating procedures for using ATAK/ITAK for our Task Force that could be used to integrate with Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety
  • Trained over 100 soldiers from the Missouri and Texas National Guard including leadership of both units on ATAK/ITAK, capabilities, use cases and integrating ATAK into their standard operating procedures from the highest level to the lowest
  • Successfully integrated ATAK/ITAK into the communications plan for the task force
  • Training soldiers in tactical proficiency of the 60mm mortar system and small unit tactics.
