Dynamic courier with extensive experience at Federal Express, excelling in package delivery and route optimization. Proven track record in making service, running an organized route, knowing how to plan a day even when not on a route I have knowledge of, ensuring high standards of operation. Experienced in defensive driving, practicing safe courier practices.
Since April I have been a Ops Coordinator (Lead) at CXOA. I have been involved and responsible for a wide range of tasks including running DRO, running the morning meeting and sort, running the Saturday operation as a whole as well as on various days where all 3 station Managers are off or on travel assignments (along with the other Ops Coordinator, William Malin), providing feedback and communicating with couriers on a wide range of deficiencies from PPOD, VERA and Gap reports, riding along and training, and submitting AM recap reports.
I have worked at now 3 FedEx Express locations and filled a variety of roles for each.
NOTA - Petaluma, CA
My First station, I filled all sort roles over time. I also was a member of the safety team and lead the safety team for several years. I was responsible for running through monthly meeting, leading stretch and flex, having the safety message and addressing the team each morning.
LKSA - Houston, TX
I transferred here in 2022 and was a swing driver, giving me extensive experience operating a wide range of routes, vehicles, and sort positions. This also gave me very firsthand experience all over the station of how each loop operated, how managers interacted with the drivers, and what approaches were most effective in maintaining service day to day.
CXOA - 2024 to 2026
My 3rd and current station. My responsibility here has been to maintain a high standard of service while giving maximum effort on the sort to set an example for the rest of the team to follow.
Worked as a courier for a FedEx Ground contractor. Drove vehicles as large as a P1200 with manual transmission. The last couple years I was 2nd in charge, essentially a swing driver when needed and managing the route drivers in the morning when contractor was not present.
I ran the shipping department for Aluma USA, a jewelry company with an employee under me. I was responsible for international shipping, often through FedEx Express, as products came in from our factory overseas. I had to communicate with our production factory to keep up with customer deadlines and make sure there were no customs delays. I was also responsible for inspecting products to ensure quality and accuracy.
Worked in the Central Kitchen for the Child Nutrition program, worked the warehouse during the summer. Eventually my primary role was driving trucks delivering food to the schools in our jurisdiction as well as working on the food assembly line.
About a 4 month stint, working cashier at The Home Depot. Was required to learn about products at store to assist customers looking to find products as well as check out.
Worked as Cashier, eventually learning the kitchen as well, being the primary choice to operate the Drive Thru.
