Plainfield Parks & Recreation, and specifically the Richard A. Carlucci Center, has been such an important and impactful place in the lives of my family. As a family that loves to be outside and active, we are so unbelievably fortunate to have all of the amenities that are made available to us. There basically isn't a day that we either aren't accessing one of: the recreation center, aquatic center, parks, or trails. It has become so much more than just a facility to us. From the gym to the pool, basketball leagues to taekwondo, the Playworld and the people, it has become a place where we as a family have bettered our health and bettered our lives. It would be my honor if I could be a part of the people that help make that kind of impact in the lives of the families in our community - and I would work my hardest every day to do so.
