Oversee daily management of logistics, fulfillment, and transportation activities, eliminating waste and increasing productivity

• Maintain inventory, shipping and receiving accuracy through applying company procedures using the current warehouse management software, and audit of the same to verify results.

• Ensured inventory accuracy through a cycle count process in cooperation with finance and operational requirements

• Maintained a reasonable workload with the Inbound and Outbound Department by taking readings throughout the day and by readjusting the staffing levels as necessary to achieve the level of volume by the projected time of completion

• Ensured the order filling department timely handling of orders available to ship, such that daily business goals and customer ship date requirements were met

• Maintained a balanced workload on the Outbound Department, altering the staffing levels as necessary to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion

• Supervised and lead approximately 50+ team members, including both regular and temporary team members

• Lead the outbound team including but not limited to staff communications, staff balancing, work assignments and adherence to methods
