As an Exceptional Children's coordinator my role has included collaboration with other members of the administration/leadership team to maintain highly effective Special Education department. Below are some of the areas in which my accomplishments have been seen:

• State and federal compliance maintenance
• LEA for IEP's and 504s
• State reporting requirements (i.e Child Counts, IDEA Basic Grants, LEA Self-Assessment, etc.)
• Collaboration with related service teams to ensure timely implementation of services
• Allocated resources effectively, prioritizing specialized materials and tools for students' unique needs.
• Enhanced individualized learning by developing and implementing tailored IEPs for each student.
• Optimized data collection methods to track student progress more accurately and inform instructional decisions.
• Planned and implemented staff development and in-service training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Conferred and resolved education-related issues and problems with students, parents and school officials.
• Represented educational program at meetings and conferences to serve as subject matter liaison for array of services and activities assigned.

• College and Career Readiness GED, Adult High School, I-Lead
• English, Reading, History, Science, Social Studies Instruct classes of 20-25 students for 120 minutes, three times each week
• In person and Online instruction
• Assessment prep
• Update class syllabus, assignment log, and additional materials for students
• Bi-weekly collaboration with mentor to discuss departmental goals and upcoming events
• Small group tutoring
• Differentiated instruction

• MTSS interventionist providing instruction for students in small group settings reading, writing or math
• Testing facilitator
• Differentiated lesson plans for diverse learners.
