I’m a 62 year old women I started working for my Bernice Hayek ( Oasis Tavern) in Belle Plaine Ia as a Bartender, in 1980 I worked parting and I work at the Legion in Belle Plaine Ia on Sundays. In 1985 or 1986 I got a job at the Belle Plaine nursing home( watermark) I start as a nurses Assistant, in 1989 1990 got my CNA Certification and became Stat certified then I moved to Ceder Rapids Ia I got a job at Al side Windows and I assembled windows and then was promoted to a group leader we’re I preformed various positions, also work at Mercy Hospital as a CNA I work 4 to 8 Monday third Friday in the pm hrs and I work days 6 am to 2 am every other weekend, I also worked as A Cna at an Assistant Living on the opposite weekend! In 190 I got a job as a caregiver (CNA) at Northbrook care facility in Cedar rapinds Ia I work days 6 to 2 but I also pick up shifts on 2nd and overnights I was in a care accident in 1992 so I moved an was staying with a frien why I was recuperating! In 1993 I was offered a job at Tama Paperboard I work in the labor pool where i preformed various jobs I work in the line of progression on the paper machine , then I was a machine tester in quality control , I also worked in the warehouse as a sheeted operator where I cut the paper Lengh filled customers orders in 1986 I bid on Machine Shipper where I inspected, weighed and recorded lineal feet, and moved rolls to warehouse, and when we had sheet breaks I helped thread up paper machine . In 2005 I resigned the paper mill to care for my 2 yr old granddaughter personal family problems , in 2008 I return to the paper mill at Tama Paperboard which was Carstar Paperboard and worked in the labor pool and preformed various jobs. In 2012 I moved to Prole Ia to start my new Life I got a jibe at Vintage Hills Indianola Ia as a caregiver in 2014 and I worked there for eight yrs then in 2022 I left Vintage and now I’m working par time in the Mornings as an animal technician I’m currently off work because I got a hip replacement June 26 of this year ( 2023) at this point I really need a fulltime job since I’m fixed I’m gonna be released to go back to work soon ! I’m raising my for grandchildren which are all teenagers from 15 to 18yrs of age, I have a 17 yr old grandson in handicap so I’m also caring fo him also I am my grandchildren’s guardian as of now.
