POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Working under general direction, the coordinator will be responsible for diverse
administrative functions for the law school specialty programs: Master of Arts in Financial
Integrity (MAFI) Compliance and Risk (CRM), Masters of Patent Practice, and U.S. Laws LLM
programs, The specialty programs provide critical tuition income to the law school, enrolling new
graduate students into degree programs. The specialty programs coordinator has overall
responsibility for the smooth functioning of the department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assist the specialty program directors with creating cohort appointment letters and
statements of work. Process and organize expense reimbursement and payment requests
using foreign currency translation tools as needed. Collect and maintain confidential
information. Assist in preparation of class materials: course enrollment, syllabi, and
distribution and collection of course materials. Create, edit and post documents to Canvas
for professors. Create reports showing the status of payments. Facilitate domestic and
international travel for adjunct and program faculty. (30%)
2. Provide excellent customer service in response to the needs of the inquiries and applicants
who apply for admission through a variety of sources: different countries, contracted agents,
government sponsors, partner organizations and law schools, etc. Respond to general
program questions by phone and email. Facilitate communications between the department
and the university and coordinate workflow between departments as needed. Collect,
validate, and process all necessary forms related to speaker honoraria ensuring accurate
and timely payment; (20%)
3. Regularly review and revise template responses to email inquiries and admit letters (for
scholarships, government-sponsored, self-funded, etc.). Authorize routine department
expenditures, prepare, or assist in preparing budgets, and reconcile monthly expense
statements, budget analysis/ forecasting, and expense reports. Create requisitions, order
supplies reconcile expenditures for all programs. Compile information for budget reports and
provide support to the directors in report preparation and analyses. (25%).
4. Assist the Academic Center Directors in the execution of logistics for Center internal and
external events. inside and process reimbursements for speakers. Directly manage all set-
up details and day-of-event registration related to lectures and conferences requiring
occasional late hours and work on Saturdays. Arrange rooms, catering, and other supplies
for on- and off-campus events. (15%).
