One of my top responsibilities of being a cabinet builder is insuring quality control and consistency; from blueprints to finished product. I personally have worked on cabinets from the cutting of the parts, constructing, painting, delivery, installation and cleanup of many jobs. Collaborating with coworkers to find a fix if a problem arises, is also another big part of my job. From keeping tabs on the stock of our materials to the correct handling and maintaining of chop saws, drill presses, machines and much more; All of the experience I've gained in this trade is transferable across many more fields and duties.

As a server for this proper but cozy restaurant, it was my responsibility to listen closely to each individual and tailor their experience to be as welcoming and comfortable as possible. My main priorities were maintaining a friendly environment wether it were coworker or customer, inputting and bringing out orders in a timely manner, making drinks at the bar, cleaning and sanitizing all tables, dishes, stations, menus, etc, or keeping stock of food items like salads, sauces and more. Being a small, local restaurant, we had many regulars who were family who i tended to and often remembered their orders down to the smallest details; like one of our musicians preferring hot tea with honey, or our customers who cant have salt in their food, for example.

This job was one of the messiest, so my biggest priority, considering I worked in clients' homes, was to maintain their- and our- cleanliness. It's also one of the most tedious when it comes to proper application of paint, so prep was the first and foremost; from taping, covering, puttying, sanding, cleaning, using the correct tool and ensuring a maintained temperature for each type of paint, we would complete each job to the clients needs and satisfaction. By collaborating with my coworkers, we would ensure quality, safety and consistency in all aspects.
