I've been interested in the medical field for a long time. I started reading medical books at the age of 8, and taught myself how to suture. I'm currently enrolled in MCTI Health Professions and I've learned how to record vital signs, transfer, move, and reposition patients. I also learned patient care, proper hygiene, infection control, and medical terminology. At MCTI, I'm involved in HOSA, Skills USA, and Aevidum. I've helped manage a few health fairs, which consists of measuring vital signs for patients. I've contributed to HOSA by selling donuts for fundraising. As well as fundraising for Awsome. I've made lap blankets for patients in nursing homes, and organized care bags that include chemo caps and get well cards. I used to play the violin and flute for 4 years. I was involved in sports back in middle school such as track and field and gymnastics.
