As an Emergency Response Dispatcher, I serve as the primary communication link between the public and emergency personnel, including law enforcement, fire, and EMS responders. I receive and prioritize emergency calls, gather critical information, dispatch appropriate resources, and maintain radio communication to support effective incident response. I monitor ongoing incidents, provide updates to responding personnel, and coordinate resources to ensure timely and efficient emergency operations. This role requires me to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple situations simultaneously, and make sound decisions based on changing circumstances. I follow established policies and procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure information is communicated clearly and accurately. Working closely with multiple agencies strengthened my ability to collaborate with others, solve problems, adapt to changing conditions, and support safe and efficient operations during routine and emergency situations.
