• As Store Manager, I am responsible for the overall management of the store. I execute company policies, procedures and programs required to manage a Michaels store; maintaining sales and profit. I have working knowledge of specialty businesses within, Classroom, Frame Shop, BOPIS and Ship From Store. I determine the hiring needs and corrective action within the building. I am responsible for the management and supervision of the store, guiding in all coaching and disciplinary actions Control shrink through minimizing damages and controllable operating income. Monitor all cash compliance procedures weekly. Controlling the out of stock process weekly to maintain a full inventory.

As manager, developing and coaching associates to the company's main priorities through a declining business is my biggest accomplishment, while maintaining a low shrink. I strive to be the top of the district each week.

As Director, within a national corporate ratings, my store has maintained profitability and a status ranking the top 100 stores out of 3000 retail sites. I am responsible for all the facets of managing and conducting business in this store despite a declining market.
