Receptionist
- Professionally greeting all patients and obtaining patient identification and insurance information to initiate process
- Performs insurance verification process and completes all required actions with patients
- Interaction with staff, patients and physicians
- Coordinates check- in and check-outs
- Collects copay fees, and past due balances on accounts and other payments for billing
- Supports office staff requirements with administrative tasks
- Confirms appointments and provided rescheduling of appointments with patients through telephone, texts and mail
- Answers central telephone system and directed calls accordingly.
- Checks patient insurance,demographic and health history to keep information current
- Adheres to HIPPA guidelines to protect patient privacy
