As a Participant Choice Specialist, I am responsible for making accurate information available to regional center staff, clients, and community partners about all participant-directed service options.

• Provided outreach and trainings to our SDRC staff and community partners to help inform them about the Self-Determination Program and it's benefits. I have helped grow the San Diego Self-Determination Program to be the 1 st ranking of the 21 Regional Centers in the state. O
• Orchestrate the Self-Determination Experience Conference in 2022 and 2023 in partnership with the San Diego Local Advisory Board.
• Implemented the 1st SDP audit in April 2022 along side the SDP Medwaiver team.

Responsible for the case management and coordination for children with developmental disabilities. Ensure documentation and services are provided in a timely and professional manager while maintaining efficiency to support agency timelines and guidance.

• Orchestrating the coordination of clients, advocacy groups, vendors, and internal case management teams of up to 110 client cases including those in foster care, medically fragile, or in the SDP lottery.
• Executed the enrollment and participation of clients ages 3-18 into the Self-Determination Program through assistance of developing trainings, materials, and outreach.
