Responsibilities and Duties
  • As the Assistant Operating director, I primarily independently manage and lead this branch, with Support from My Operations Director.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider.
  • Referral building: Cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.).
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Hiring and onboarding new team members and ensuring all shifts are properly staffed. Monitor on-call responsibilities as calls come from clients, caregivers and partners.
  • In-home Assessments: Build strong client relationships, conduct intakes, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Follow up and Collect on AR Reports as needed.

calls & referral source calls.
 Handles incoming and outgoing mail, email, Google Texts, faxes and phone
calls.
 Schedules client cases with appropriate field employees, making all follow
through calls necessary to produce an effective, smooth flowing schedule.
 Coordinates day to day activities of caregivers, organizes & maintains
contingency care plan, ensuring quality and appropriate care of our clients at all
times.
 Receives referrals and inquiries on the programs of this company.
 Interviews, screens and tests all applicants.
 Performs software tracking and documentation duties including updating
telephony records.
 Ensures timely collection appropriate documentation for each client & caregiver.
 Reads care notes for all assigned clients, performs client supervisory visits and
tracks care to make sure we have an accurate and timely care plan and
caregivers are performing well.
 Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
 Performs 24x7 on-call coordinator duties as needed – estimated at three weeks per
month for all 5 offices.
 Maintains confidentiality of client and caregiver related information.

 Serves as liaison between associates and Primary Administrator.
 Completes monthly self-directed training and documents this in personnel file.
 For further documentation see tasks to be performed in attached task matrix
 Other general office and clerical functions.
 Other duties assigned by the Primary Administrator. As well as taking over taking over for the Primary Administrator when she is unavailable or out of town.
