I Have 10+ years of experience in Customer Service. I am a people person by nature and understand the importance of excellent customer service. Outgoing and friendly with attention to detail. Having begun my career in customer service at The age of 16 at McDonald's and moving on to table service at various places; such as Mitchel's Restaurant in Chicago, a family restaurant (Diner Style) with a very high customer turnover, seating up to 175 people for breakfast lunch and dinner. Later moving up and on to Gypsy's Restaurant and Wine Bar, a high end dining establishment specializing in varietal gourmet foods and wines. I served both as a Server and Bartender, gaining knowledge of gourmet dishes and wines. With that knowledge and experience, While living in Galveston Texas I was hired as a server at a high end establishment, Mario's Seawall restaurant where I was quickly promoted to Assistant Bar Manager, for my wine knowledge, my top notch customer service skills and The introduction of a new "hit" cocktail. Later on in life I decided to go to school for Massage Therapy after graduation and passing my state exams with high scores, I began to further my Customer Service experience. As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) I had to "kick it up a notch" , it is imperative to ensure that a massage client/patient feels at ease, comfortable and feels safe in your care. Often times there are first time clients/patients who have no idea what to expect or have anxiety about being undressed with only a sheet, blanket or towel to cover them and even more so being touched by a stranger. A person seeking treatment is in a most vulnerable state and if one can not make them feel at ease and safe, they have failed not only at their job but they have failed the client/patient and themselves. Within a very short period of time I had may clients/patients including first timers who became regulars and people who had experienced an unfavorable encounter with a Therapist prior to meeting me. I feel very good about my Customer Service skills and knowledge, as well, I love being of service and creating a warm, safe, positive and enlightening experience for all.
