Tenure (2021): I received tenure from the Ossining UFSD Board of Education in June of 2021.


Superintendent Nomination (2021) : In 2021, I was nominated by Superintendent, Dr. Ray Sanchez to attend the Bank Street College of Education - Future School Leader Academy (FSLA) dual certification Master of Education (EdM) program in School Building Leadership (SBL) and School District Leadership (SDL) which I completed in May of 2023.


SEL "Push In" (2018-2022): I have spent the last six years leading a tiered approach to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) for students from a trauma-informed perspective with expertise in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). I developed a tiered approach to the CASEL Social Emotional Learning (SEL) framework for primary education prior to the district adaptation of the SEL Second Step curriculum.


Chronic Attendance Intervention Program (2022-Present): I developed an intervention program to address chronic attendance and factors that contribute to absences through 1:1 caregiver meetings providing psycho-education, resources, data collection and analysis.


Supervisor of Field Instruction (SIFI) (2018-Present): I oversee all district Social Work field placements serving as a liaison between the Ossining UFSD and various academic institutions building and maintaining strong collaborative partnerships. I developed the field placement position posting description for the district, and have supervised BSW/MSW students consecutively for five years, having led to a district hire of an intern who was under my supervision.


Onboarding (2021-Present): I have been a member of three AP search committees, supported with the onboarding of four recent SW new hires, participated in interviews for the position of Mental Health Counselor, and contributed to the districts diversity fair initiative, interviewing candidates in collaboration with SDL's.


District Level Professional Development (2022-Present): District leadership opportunities have granted me with the ability to put my doctoral work into action, providing me with spaces for the facilitation of PD's for new hires and fellow colleagues in the areas of vicarious trauma, burnout, and compassion fatigue, while exploring workplace satisfaction amongst a diverse employee population, and promoting resiliency, in an effort to foster a psychologically safe environment for professionals where their mental/behavioral health is at the forefront of practice and policy going forward.


Culturally Responsive - Restorative Discipline: I developed a data driven system to address student crisis and intervention using a tiered approach to infractions, and 1:1 educator support in classroom management/multidisciplinary collaboration and treatment planning.
